K-Tips / Fusion Extensions

Individual extension strands with keratin-based tips that are bonded to your own hair. They add length or fullness without a sewn-in track.

The finished look does not identify the attachment method. Ask your stylist about K-Tip examples.

Microlinks / I-Tips

Small beads hold individual extension strands in place. I-Tips are a type of strand extension used with this method; the attachment does not use bonding glue or heat.

Closure

A small hairpiece that covers the top or parting area of a weave or wig. It helps finish the style without leaving that area of your own hair exposed.

See related weave & wig looks

Ask your stylist which looks use a closure.

Lace Frontal

A hairpiece that covers the front hairline, typically from ear to ear. It can finish a weave or form the front of a wig and allows more room for changing the part.

Sew-In / Weave

Extension hair attached by sewing wefts onto a braided foundation. A weft is a row of hair joined together along the top.

Explore extension looks

Ask your stylist about the installation method for your chosen look.

Quick Weave

Extension wefts bonded to a protective base to create a hairstyle. The base sits between the bonding adhesive and your own hair.

See quick weave examples
Clip-In Extensions

Extension pieces attached with small clips to add length or fullness. They are removable rather than a long-term bonded or sewn installation.

See a bridal trial with clip-ins
Crochet Hair

Hair added using a crochet tool to loop extension hair through a braided foundation. Crochet can create curly, twisted or braided looks.

Toner

A color step used to refine a shade—for example, softening unwanted warmth or adding a cool, beige or golden tone. It is often used after lightening.

See color inspiration

A finished photo does not confirm which toner was used.

Highlights

Selected sections of hair made lighter than the surrounding hair. Highlights add contrast and dimension, from subtle ribbons to bolder pieces.

See highlighted color looks
Semi-Permanent Color

Color that gradually fades with washing and generally adds tone rather than lifting your natural color lighter. Your stylist can help you choose the right color service.

The color formula is not identified in these photos.

Silk Press

A smooth, straight finish created with blow-drying and heat styling, without a chemical relaxer. Your natural texture returns after washing.

See silk press examples
Press & Curl

Hair pressed smooth and then styled into curls or waves with heat tools. The finish can range from soft movement to more defined curls.

See press & curl examples
Rod Set / Flexi-Rod Set

Hair wrapped around rods to form curls as it dries. Flexible rods can create different curl sizes depending on the rod and how the hair is wrapped.

See curl inspiration

Ask your stylist which set creates your preferred curl pattern.

Loc Maintenance / Retwist

A service that tidies new growth and maintains the shape of existing locs. Your stylist can also discuss a finished loc style.

See loc styles
Two-Strand Twists

Two sections of hair twisted around each other to create a defined twist. They can be styled in different sizes and lengths.

See twist examples
Perm

A chemical service that creates lasting curls or waves. Unlike a temporary curl set, the treated hair keeps its changed shape after washing.

See a perm for defined curls
Relaxer

A chemical service that permanently straightens or loosens the curl pattern of the treated hair. New growth keeps your natural texture and may need a touch-up.

See smooth short-style inspiration

These finished styles do not identify whether a relaxer was used. Your stylist can explain the service behind your chosen look.

Texturizer

A chemical service used to loosen a natural curl pattern while keeping some curl or wave. It changes the treated hair’s texture; it is not the same as a curl-defining styling product.

See curl-pattern inspiration

These photos show curl inspiration, not confirmed texturizer results. Ask your stylist about suitable options.
